The Bartabas Equestrian Academy

Located at 5 minutes from our hotels, in front of the castle, this academy of equestrian art is a unique corps de ballet in the world. Combining Haute Ecole dressage work with other disciplines such as dance, singing, fencing or Kuydo, this school offers magnificent performances such as Davide Penitente, this year, for the Mozart Week festival in Austria. It also offers a weekly show in Versailles: La Voie de l'Ecuyer, performed every weekend, Saturdays at 6pm and Sundays at 3pm. This show is an idea of Bartabas, who wanted to present to the public every week, the fruit of the work of the squires. Produced in the magnificent riding school of the Grande Ecurie of the castle, this company exposes the finesse of the relationship with the animal rather than the technique.
You will discover after a court of honor, a luxurious riding school presented as a theater with many mirrors in a nod to the Hall of Mirrors. The school also opens its doors to you every weekend, for Les Matinales des Ecuyers, where you can enter the intimacy of a work session. All the performances are followed by a free tour of the stables. Come and discover the virtuosity of the horsemen's work, which they strive to transmit at each performance, in a disarming decor of luxurious simplicity.
