GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE: Article 1: Reservations Reservations will only be confirmed once the hotelier has given their approval. For all reservations, the client must pay a deposit or provide a credit card number. The hotel contract is considered concluded upon agreement between the parties. Reservations made on our website are effective upon receipt of the confirmation email. In the event of an invalid card, the hotel may cancel the reservation. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card before the arrival date.
Article 2: Payment Accommodation fees are payable no later than the day of departure. For long-term rentals (1 week or more), bills must be settled weekly. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard, AMEX, checks (with presentation of an identity card bearing the same name), or Chèques Vacances (French holiday vouchers). Cash payment is also possible. In accordance with Article 2102 of the French Civil Code, the client may not refuse to have their luggage held if they refuse to pay. A valid credit card in the client's name will be required as a guarantee. Room rates are calculated per day. Failure to pay will result in the client's immediate eviction, subject to legal action for payment of the outstanding amount. If you are unable to provide us with a valid credit card, we will be unable to accept your room rental request.
Article 3: Tourist Tax The tourist tax is never included in the reservation price. This tax is in effect in the municipality and payable on site. The current rate in 2024 was €5.04 per adult per night.
Article 4: Cancellation/Modification of Reservation and Commitment In the event of a modification or cancellation of a reservation, all clients are required to notify the hotel 48 hours in advance, according to the terms of the reserved rate, before the arrival date. If the client fails to notify the hotel within the above timeframe, they will be charged as if the reservation had been taken. Any rental period that has commenced is payable in full. Late arrivals or early departures will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances. For cancellations or modifications made up to 2 days (48 hours) before the arrival date, according to the terms of the reserved rate, the hotel will not charge any fees (requests made by email, telephone, or through the booking platform). For late cancellations or modifications (less than 48 hours before the arrival date, according to the terms of the reserved rate), the hotel will charge 100% of the total reservation amount (requests made by email, telephone, or through the booking platform). In case of no-show, the hotel will charge 100% of the stay and reserves the right to re-let the room. In case of any changes during the stay, the hotel will charge 100% of the stay. \"Non-refundable\" reservation: the full amount of the stay is due at check-in. Non-modifiable, non-cancellable, and non-exchangeable. The hotel has the right to re-let a room immediately under the following conditions:
Cancellation by the guest. Modification of the reservation by the guest. No-show by the guest. Error by the guest when making the reservation, regarding dates, number of rooms, or room type.
Article 4bis: Cancellation/Modification of Duplicate Reservations or Reservations at the Wrong Establishment. In case of a duplicate reservation due to a guest error or if the guest booked at the wrong establishment, the guest may modify/cancel the erroneous reservation free of charge if they contact us within 24 hours (excluding same-day arrivals). A processing fee may apply for stays exceeding 24 hours, but only if the reservation was made on our official website.
Article 5: Room Access, Arrival, and Departure. All guests wishing to stay at the hotel are required to provide their identity and the identities of any accompanying persons. Upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed with the hotelier, guests may not demand to occupy the room before 3:00 PM. The overnight stay ends at 11:00 AM, regardless of the guest's arrival time. A luggage storage service allows guests to leave their luggage free of charge at the hotel reception on the day of arrival or departure. Upon departure, guests must return their room key card to reception. In the event of loss or non-return of the hotel key card at the end of the stay, the guest will be charged €10 per key card, either from the credit card provided as a guarantee at the time of booking or upon departure. Guests are strictly prohibited from taking any item belonging to the hotel. They must inform the hotel staff if they notice any misplaced item and return it; otherwise, they will be charged.
Article 7: Children and Extra Beds A baby cot can be provided free of charge for a child under three years old. No extra beds are available. The maximum number of baby cots per room is one.
Article 8: Pets Pets are not allowed in our establishment. Guide dogs for the blind are permitted free of charge with prior agreement from the hotel staff and must be accommodated in a ground-floor room to minimize the animal's movement in the hotel corridors. A pet is the responsibility of the room's occupant. It is forbidden to leave a pet unattended in the room or to allow it to defecate in the hotel garden. Any damage, whether caused intentionally or unintentionally, must be reported directly to reception and paid for by the room's tenant.
Article 9: Group Bookings
A booking is considered a group booking for 5 or more rooms. A deposit of 50% of the total booking amount will be required at the time of booking to confirm the group. Depending on how far in advance the booking is made, the client will have a period, specified in the booking confirmation, to modify or cancel part or all of the booking before the arrival date. The deposit will be refunded (excluding a flat cancellation fee of €100). In the event of cancellation or modification after the previously established cancellation and modification period, the deposit will not be refunded.
Article 10: Damage The client must use the rented property with respect. The rooms made available to our clients are checked, functional, and in good condition. Our clients are asked to immediately report any issues to the hotel reception. In case of a problem, the client will be held liable. In case of damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge the client for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infraction discovered after the guest's departure; the amount of compensation will be charged to the guest's card. In the event of intentional or unintentional damage to hotel equipment, objects, or furniture, the hotel may demand full reimbursement plus a penalty and damages ranging from €1,000 to €2,000. In the event of flooding, water damage, or fire, whether intentional or unintentional, the hotel may demand full reimbursement for the damages caused. If damage occurs in other rooms, the hotel will demand reimbursement for the nights spent by other guests. The hotel may charge a cleaning fee if the room is left in a condition deemed unacceptable. In the event of damage to carpeting, bedding, or bed bases, the hotel will demand reimbursement for the damages with a minimum charge of €1,000 for repairs and to avoid re-letting the rooms. Generally, the guest must pay for any damages directly to the hotel. Guests can contact their insurance company (if they wish to be reimbursed) for any intentional or unintentional damage they cause during their stay. All our rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge the equivalent of one night's stay for additional cleaning fees (€99) to any guest who smokes in their room. If a guest wishes to continue smoking inside or outside designated areas, they will be asked to leave the hotel. In the event of a breach of the hotel's internal regulations, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without being entitled to any refund. The hotel reserves the right to charge for any undeclared food or drinks consumed upon departure, as well as for any damage to the room. This amount will be charged to the credit card information provided at the time of booking. The hotel is under no obligation to notify the guest but can provide an invoice upon request.
Article 11: Complaints Any complaint regarding the quality of services provided must be made to the hotelier immediately.
Article 12: Safe You may store your personal belongings in a safe if you wish. This service will be charged at €5 per day.
Article 13: Lost and Found Items left behind or abandoned may be sold under the conditions stipulated by the law of March 31, 1896. If the guest requests that their belongings be returned by parcel or mail, the shipment will be sent upon receipt of a prepaid envelope.
Article 14: Consumer Mediation The hotel informs the guest of the possibility of resorting, in the event of a dispute relating to these General Terms and Conditions, to conventional mediation or any other alternative dispute resolution method, under the conditions stipulated in Title I of Book VI of the French Consumer Code.
Article 15: Acceptance of General Terms and Conditions of Sale The hotel's internal regulations apply to all reservations. All stays imply acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale. Failure to comply with the above provisions will result in the immediate termination of the contract.
Article 16: Disputes In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavor to find an amicable solution. If no amicable agreement can be reached, the consumer has the option of contacting the consumer mediator responsible for the professional, namely the Association of European Mediators (AME CONSO), free of charge, within one year of the written complaint sent to the professional. The consumer mediator must be contacted: - Either by completing the form provided for this purpose on the AME CONSO website www.mediationconso-ame.com - Or by mail addressed to AME CONSO, 11 Place Dauphine - 75001 PARIS.
IF THE CLIENT FAILS TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTELIER WILL BE OBLIGATED TO INVITE THE CLIENT TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.
